House of healing in the ancestral way

San Agustin, Colombia — A group of elders from the Amazon decided to make the way up the heights of the Colombian Massif, a standing spiritual region with ancient stone statues where the main Colombian rivers have their cradle. Taita Hector Yaiguajé Coca, an elder in his 80’s, crossed the Putumayo river, took a flight inside a small craft […]

No decadency

There is not such as a decadency of the current times as some presume. Our children do not read like before, they say. The real key is not in what they read, but in what they see. We are heading to a golden time of deep discoveries and wonderful science and knowledge. Still we can […]

47 years old’s interview

Here are some questions sent to me during the approach of my 47th birthday (October 10, 2017.) Enjoy. Do you believe in God?  I believe in reason and science, because they allow humanity to advance, to discover new frontiers and even to survive. After all these years inside my own being, I don’t think my […]

Sending messages to aliens

The METI project (Messaging to Extraterrestrial Intelligence) seems more a chapter of human vanity than real science and, as many scholars suggest such Stephen Hawking, it can be risky, dangerous, because it could attract an unknown hostile civilization to our tiny planet with unthinkable consequences. Poverty is a vicious circle

There are many ideas of poverty.  I was grown as a poor kid in a Medellín´s commune (poor and violent), but it does not make me an authorized voice to say what poverty is at all.  Sociologists, policy designers and other scientists study poverty, so they can make more exact definitions.  But some people suggest […]

The Black Holes are not black…

The most interesting is that Black Holes produce much energy. Although they are very small objects, they are brighter than stars and galaxies. The theory is that there is a Black Hole at the center of every galaxy and they probably play a very important role in the formation of galaxies, planets and even life…

The Psychological Internet Time as Illusion

The use of the Internet changes the personal idea of time Summary: Why internet users have another idea of the passing of time? A single subject is doing many things at the same time and it divides the time in different vectors. It trains the brain to perform multi-task actions even in the real world. […]

Time in the mind

The illusion of time… Yes. It’s an illusion. It depends very much on space. But it depends also of mind. Time is a convention. A convention is a human agreement between many. Conventions can become law if most and most people assume it such it is. Time is an illusion and it depends very much […]

The plastic… that modern mistake

Every age has its mistakes and we, modern people, have too many mistakes, of course. It would be wiser to discover them and try to correct in a best way not to be blame by our descendants as selfish or mediocre people that knowing what was to be done, it was never done. Our modern mistakes, […]
