The incident of a presidential aircraft forced down in Europe this week touches the height of absurdity and damages the image of standing democracies of countries such as France, Spain, Portugal and, of course, United States of America, culmen democratia. Although the pink South American bloque made by Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador and Bolivia is not my favorite one, I see this act as an authentic act of abuse of power and decadency. Is this government of Rajoy so weak, so servilis, to protagonist such an act of tomfoolery as sending the Spanish ambassador in Vienna to search inside a presidential aircraft, with a democratic, civilized and honorable president inside for Snowed? Such the Spanish ambassador is a kind of  botones or bellboy of Uncle Sam?

The whole planet got familiar with the name of Edward Snowden in question of days, the US National Security Agency whistleblower that uncovered a practice of breaking private communication on US citizens under national security reasons, but affecting of course the privacy of millions in a globalized planet – greetings Obama.

The point is that we know very well the name of this former NSA agent persecuted by US in our tiny planet as a mouse but staying at the Moscow airport in an international limbo, but we don’t know the responsible brains and leaders of the authentic global espionage. US has the right to prosecute its own citizens and, even if Snowden rises much sympathy from many that considered him as a hero, there is a more criminal behaviour in those who, for example, contracted him… Where are they?

As John Pilger of The Guardian says, forcing president Morales plane is an act of air piracy. However, it shows also decadency from the European Union and a lack of vision from this current US government dealing with South America as it were a big kindergarten. With these acts, US and its allies are losing global legitimacy, becoming similar to any undemocratic country in other continents such as North Korea.

Let’s suppose that Snowden were, for example, Uruguayan and he escapes to Chile, where president Obama were – by coincidence – in a meeting, where he said he would welcome this uruguayan Snowden if he asks. Then, flying back to Washington, suddenly all the South and Central American countries denied their space and obliged the plane to land in Bogotá, where the Uruguayan ambassador comes to search inside the plane, retaining Obama for 12 hours !!! Would US allows it? Would not this hypocritical governments of Spain, Portugal and France make declarations in support to US for it with hypocrite worrisome faces?

Is it not an unprofessional behaviour what they have done with a president of a Western country with democratical principles? Does not Spain, Portugal and France deserve a right punishment for going against the international civilized rules? From where the European Community and US take the natural resources to eat beans in their palaces?
