Phnom Penh (The Cambodian Daily). A Cambodian politician was convicted and fined US$250 for adultery in the Phnom Penh Municipality Court this week. Khek Ravy, a renown politician who was secretary in Funcipec, one of the most important political parties of Cambodia, and who is the current vice-president of the Cambodian Federation of Football, became the first man to face the consequences of an anti-Adultery law or Law on Monogamy, implemented by the National Assembly in September 2006. His former wife, Nina K You brought the case into the court accusing him of extra-marital affairs.
